Guerrilla Gardening?

...comes in all colors and forms! It´s fun! And it´s very easy!!

Guerrilla Gardening makes gardening in the city possible for everybody ! All you need to get started is desire, creativity and few plants.

Short Instructions:

1. Look for a neglected area, preferably in your own neighborhood. Berlin in particular contains many unused areas suitable to these issues.

2. Decide what you would like to plant and if your choice makes sense for the location you've chosen. Tough plants and fast growing flowers are good choices in the beginning.

3. It´s more fun in a group - be allied! Talk to friends and neighbors!

4. Lay out your garden. You might need to add some extra soil before planting and in any case you need to water everything well after planting!

5. Sometimes it makes sense toprotectthe garden from common disturbances of a city, e.g. by putting in a small-improvised fence against dogs or feet.

6. Maintain your garden with love! Go there regularly to water.

7. If something does not work out as you desired, do not be discouraged! Talk to other people who live around! Most of them will love the idea and support the cause. Some people may even join in or start their own!
